How Can I Share a Site?

So, your organization's site is up and running, you've tested it out, and you're ready to let your voters know about this new tool, or you're a voter who is excited about a great informative website showing candidates for every position on the ballot. What do you do?

Share your site on social media!

All you need to do is copy the link to your landing page into a tweet, facebook post, instagram story, or any other social media post, and your voters will be taken straight there. It will also put a picture of your logo in the link preview. 

You're able to customize the text that automatically fills each post or email as well.

How Can I Share a Ballot?

To share your ballot with friends and family, fill out your ballot to completion and then click on the icon that says share ballot.

You'll be taken to a page that looks like this:

The first step is to enable sharing. In the top right corner of the screen click on the Turn on sharing button:

Then fill out your name and bio:

After adding a name and bio, you can add a quick statement on why you support each candidate:

Finally, share your ballot automatically on Facebook or Twitter, or copy the link to send to specific people:

Then, you're all set to get more people voting. We love seeing voters sharing their choices and casting a ballot with pride.
